Keri’s brewing experience began while helping her husband, Derek, with his homebrewing habit. She was instrumental in turning their “pipe dream” of owning a brewery into reality. For 16 years, Keri worked as a commercial interior designer for a local architecture firm and designed the building renovation. Keri’s focus is on operations, marketing, and brand management. She utilizes her passions for craft beer, design, and everything local into her role at Bearded Bee.

Dave has loved craft beer for many years! His friendship with Keri and Derek quickly turned into a partnership after hearing their ideas for a brewery. By day, Dave is a general contractor, and his experience proved invaluable during the construction and renovation of our old stable building. Dave is a master connoisseur of NC craft beer and enjoys visiting breweries during his many travels.

After growing up in California, William’s former career in the Marine Corp led him to NC. During his time in the Marines, William began homebrewing, so naturally after getting out of the Corp, he pursued his education in brewing science and brewing business. During college, he volunteered at many breweries in the Greensboro area. William brought that experience and an incredible drive and passion to his role. A part of the Bearded Bee team since day one, William was an integral part of building the business and the brand… and we’re now proud to call him a Partner!

Dave joined the Bearded Bee team in 2021 and brings with him many years of experience working at other local area restaurants, breweries, and beer distributors. Dave is often found behind the bar working with staff, organizing events, and spearheading our brand ambassadorship. Outside of the brewery, Dave is an avid sports fan and can often be found on the golf course. If you see Dave wandering aimlessly downtown with a trash can, please return him to the hive.
