Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes! We love well-behaved dogs, but we have a few rules. Keep your dog on leash at all times, and no dogs on the furniture. Please be mindful of other guests, and if your dog is having a bad day, please remove them and try again next time. Check out our front table for dog treats, water bowls, & a cleanup station for the occasional accident.

  • For the non-beer drinker, we have many options to choose from! We offer wine, mead, cider, ginger beer, and craft sodas. There really is something for everyone.

  • Bearded Bee is not just a cute name describing a trend of manly facial hair. Actually, Bearding is a term for an action of a beehive. At times, the majority of the bees in a hive leave their home and congregate on the outside of the hive. Bearding is a totally normal, totally natural behavior for bees and even a good sign of a strong, healthy colony that is thriving. Bees are performing this act to create efficiency for the hive. They are increasing airflow through the hive, either trying to cool down the colony or increase evaporation of moisture from the honey.

  • We offer 32oz crowlers that are filled on demand in our taproom, and they are priced individually based on the style of beer. Bearded Bee is not currently doing any distribution of cans to outside locations.

  • We’re honored that you would think of us for an event, but we do not rent out our space. The Hive will always be open to our regular customers (aka The Hive family). However, we do offer table reservations during our less busy times. Feel free to reach out to us to see if that might work for you.

  • Check out our current beers on tap here! Bearded Bee focuses on providing a wide variety of both classic and seasonal brews. These change often, so there is always a great selection to choose from!

  • Currently, we don’t brew any gluten free beers, but we do offer selections that are naturally gluten free… such as mead, cider, & ginger beer.

  • Yes, yes, and yes! We have a heavy food truck schedule that provides for a huge variety of cuisines, and there are some amazing local restaurants too! You’re even welcome to bring in some food from home if you wish… charcuterie board anyone?

  • Bearded Bee selects 4 charities to partner with each year. We love doing what we can to support our community, the military and their families, honeybee research, and good health initiatives. Feel free to send us your information for future consideration.

  • We are always looking for passionate people to bolster our team! Feel free to send us your resume.
