Why are we named bearded bee?
When bees are at their busiest on hot summer days, the hive is buzzing with worker bees and producing lots of honey. Worker bees will cool the hive down by gathering outside in clumps, also known as “bearding”. Sometimes they fan their wings to help promote air flow!
